Short Intro

My name is Raseel and I am a Linux Embedded Systems Software developer.

I am basically an Open Source software enthusiast and have spent most of my professional life developing on GNU/Linux.

I love to keep track of the going-ons (is that even a word ?) in the world of open source software, consumer electronic technologies, web 2.0 start-ups , robotics and semi-conductors.

I use Ubuntu 6.06 (LTS) 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) 8.04( Hardy Heron) 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) 9.10 (Karmic Koala 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) 11.10 (Oneric Ocelot)  on my home Laptop. I use Fedora Core 14 as my Office OS.

But I also love to install or live-boot various other open source OSes, well, atleast as Virtual Machines.

In this blog, I catalog  technologies that will act as catalysts for my plans of World Domination !!!

Thank you for getting me connected with Virgin/Liquid Comics. The “Ramayana” zine’ gig is very trendy which is great considering Lord Rama’s 5 million year history.

Noted you’re a “practicing atheist”, what is that exactly to you? (please excuse my curiosity)

Thank you for your valuable time,
    sincerely,

I will provide you with the rest of the details if you are interested.
